After a chemical spill in their chemistry classroom during detention, five teenage girls find themselves back in the same high school in 1989. The girls get the chance to see and interact with their parents as teenagers and start to realize that being a teenager is complicated for everyone! Will their interactions in the past change their relationships in the future? What will the girls learn about their parents that they didn’t know already?

Two groups of teenage girls are transported to a dreamy,magical world where betrayal is revealed, and friendships ignite and fizzle. By working together to save themselves and each other, they realize that their stories may be the keys to get them home!

was performed april 2nd and 3rd at HERE Arts Center and was an amazingly successful production! tiffany’s “Waking Up to Life,” emma’s “life’s just not FARE,” ayodele’s “Hanging Up Sorry,” and Samantha’s “POPZ” were all uniquely glorious and powerful shows.
