Kelsey Santiago, 18

Kelsey Santiago is a freshman journalism major at Stella and Paul Guttman Community College.

What has been the benefit of taking part in viBe's programs?
I was able to write and perform my own piece, bringing people into a part of my world. Inspiring them to fight for the things they love by owning their lives confidently.

What was your favorite memory from your time with viBe?
My favorite memory was the entire experience. Being able to do what I love and sharing that with other people who enjoy in same interests. Being in this program, I've never felt so at home, like i belong there. It has made me more confident, so I wanna thank viBe and the other girls for letting me be a part of it and listening to what I had to say and not judging because I feel like I have a voice for once. I'd say it has been better than any therapy session i've been to.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?
I want to study journalism to increase my vocabulary and become a stronger writer.
