Anais, viBe SongMakers 2017

Christal: So far in your viBe journey can you say that you learned anything new about yourself? If so what is it?

Anais: I've learned a lot, that I can write songs and stuff. You know, I'm kind of good at it and I figured out that part of myself."

Christal: How would you describe your personality in one word and how would you say you get that across in your writing?

Anais: I want to say loud, but I think that quirky would be the right word for me. I get that across in my writing because my writing style is kind of weird and quirky. And there's like, references to things that happened 50 years ago.

Christal: How important has your time at viBe been in your life, on a scale from 1 to 10?

Anais: I'd say 10, because it opened up parts of me that I didn't even know about.

Christal: What's your definition of being yourself?

Anais: [Being yourself means] that you're open and you're learning new things.

Christal: Do you think it's important to speak up? If so, when do you feel it's most important to use the power in your words?

Anais: It's always important to use the power in your words. You never know who you're going to influence and who you're going to help. Also, it's always important to speak up, especially when you see someone getting hurt or bullied, or when that's happening to you. It's always important to speak up about issues that are happening in your life or someone else's.
