Savannah Anderson, viBeApprentice, Bloomberg Arts Internship
“My time at viBe has been so lovely and welcoming. At first I was very nervous because I was in a new space that centered around something I had no experience in, but as soon as my first week working with my friend Samaiya and supervisors Kayla and Titi passed, I knew I was going to strongly enjoy my time here. I loved the research I did because I was looking into beneficial opportunities that viBe would thrive in. These included wellness classes, dance and theater education, funding ideas, podcast collaborations, and many more! Working here I got to know about the kind of people I was supporting and I couldn't be more thankful! I learned a lot about myself as well, I learned that I strive in workplaces that center around community and community building. I learned that in these spaces I tend to come out of my shell more; which I am thankful for because now I feel more prepared and hopeful when it comes to connecting with others since it used to be a category I was weak in. I enjoyed playing a role where I brought strength to such a community like viBe!”
